Luck Please

I've got a meeting tomorrow with a major reponsible for some of the worst crap on TV. In my head right now I've a lot of things I want to say to them.

But I'm a pretty quiet guy by and large. I say what I say and don't get antagonistic as a rule. But you know what? I'm fed up of the crap. So if any of you guys could send me a simple 'Fuck em' for me to wake up to tomorrow before I go it would be much appreciated.

Just a little something to bolster the spirit before I beard the lion in it's den.

Is it a meeting to berate...or one with work on the table. Take the work. Berate your cat.

Too late, but going on past history, might I suggest a bracing refreshment before entering? ;-)

Go get 'em.

I wouldn't necessarily be blue-aired shouty if you can avoid it, but I can tell you, rejecting them is DAMN good for the soul.

Be that strong mofo that writers are not!

Hey, same commenting problem I had a while back.

Missed your post because, after spending part of the weekend in Birmingham, I needed an early night to stop the twitches and tremors.

Hope it went well and you stood your ground.

Thanks to all! It was a very surprising meeting. I was almost immediately disarmed by them telling me almost exactly what I was going to tell them.

They want 'appointment TV, high concept, smart tight stories, less relationship/disease of the week driven. And they most certainly want to bring back the 16-35 age group viewers.

Music to my ears.
